Pedestrian killed in San Jose auto accident

KGO-TV reports that a pedestrian was killed in a San Jose auto accident. The accident happened when a man tried to walk across a freeway connector from Southbound State Highway 87 to Northbound Interstate 280.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the California car accident happened around 6:40pm; the driver tried to avoid the pedestrian but struck him in the far right lane of traffic.
